Description:
Garfield RE-2 School District is hiring a Licensed School Social Worker to join our student services team for the 20242025 school year. This professional will provide direct and indirect support to K12 students to enhance their social, emotional, and academic development.
Responsibilities Include:

Conduct student assessments and develop intervention plans

Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation for special education services

Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, and special education teams

Engage families in the educational process through outreach and support services

Facilitate crisis management and preventive mental health initiatives
Required Credentials:

Active CDE License as a School Social Worker or eligible for endorsement

Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW)

Experience in educational or child welfare settings preferred
